Let me clear something up before you continue reading this. Apparently there are a lot of you who have heard, or seem to think, that your Big Stack Dollars are going away April 1st. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!! The only things that are changing are how we award them and what you can "purchase" with your Big Stack Dollars. All the information is listed below. If you have any questions, please email or call Jim. NEW BIG STACK DOLLARS STRUCTURE The current structure of Big Stack Dollars (50 for 1st, 25 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd) will end on March 31st. Beginning April 1st, Big Stack Dollars will be awarded to the top 5 players. Dollar amounts will be equal to the points currently awarded for each place (100, 75, 50, 25, 20). Also, Big Stack Dollars will be awarded: *to the final table of each Bi-Monthly tournament *for a Royal Flush (250 with 1 card, 500 with both hole cards) *Bad Beat Jackpot (amount will increase to 50 BSD per night per venue) NEW BIG STACK DOLLARS STORE The "Big Stacks Dollar Store" will be changing some items. Beginning April 1st, clothing merchandise and the $100 Poker Room Sponsorship will no longer be available. These items will be available for purchase with your Big Stack Dollars until March 31st. We will be adding 3 items to the store: 1 month of 500 extra chips per game - 500 Big Stack Dollars 2 months of 500 extra chips per game - 750 Big Stack Dollars 3 months of 500 extra chips per game - 1000 Big Stack Dollars When you make a purchase of the above items, you will be given a card with a "valid thru" date and your name on it. Cards are for the player only and non-transferable. Lost cards will be replaced one time only. Your card must be with you to get your chips. YOU MUST PRESENT THE CARD TO THE DEALER FOR EVERY GAME TO GET YOUR EXTRA CHIPS. Dealers WILL NOT give out chips without showing your card. See below for more info regarding using your Big Stack Dollars. NEW TOURNAMENTS Big Stacks Poker League Entertainment Company will soon start having quarterly tournaments! These tournaments will not require qualification of a minimum of points or wins, etc. Instead, you will "Buy-in" using your Big Stack Dollars. **The amount to buy in to the first tournament will be
2,000 Big Stack Dollars. That is an average of 153 Big Stack Dollars (1 first and 1 third each week) over 13 weeks.
This amount may be adjusted for the next one if we have too many or to few participants in the first tournament. **A player must have enough Big Stack Dollars by the end of the third month of each quarter (June 30th, September 30th, December 31st and March 31st) to "Buy-in." **Tournament will be held in July, October, January and April. **Once a tournament date is posted, players will need to register via email or in person with Jim. **Walk-ins WILL NOT be accepted. **These tournaments will feature a first place prize of a $750 WSOP or WPT Sponsorship trip.
