TOURNAMENT INFO The format of this tournament is based on the popular NBC Heads Up Tournament.
64 players will compete Heads-Up, knockout style, similar to the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
QUALIFICATION Qualification dates will run from September 1st through January 31st.
Any player who wins game 1 at any venue during the qualification period will earn an entry into the qualifying pool.
The top 64 players at the end of the qualifying period will be entered into the tournament.
MATCHUPS The top 64
players will be seeded bracket style, via a random draw. If any player in the top 64 will not be available for the second
round tournament date, or does not wish to participate, they will be replaced with an alternate player, starting with the
65th ranked player. Alternates will fill-in until all 64 slots are filled.
SCHEDULE First-round
matchups will be scheduled at the nightly venues in February and March, and at the March Bi-Monthly. All first-round
winners will come together at one venue to play the remainder of the tournament on Saturday, April 2nd (the first day of the
NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four). The venue will be announced at a later date.
BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT BONUS Each player will be randomly assigned a team participating
in the basketball tournament. If your team wins the championship, you will win a $100 Poker
Room Sponsorship. If your team wins the tournament and you win the Madness in March tournament,
you will receive a bonus prize (will be posted at a later date).

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS The Final Four will qualify for the 2011 Paul Lewis Memorial Tournament
of Champions in June, 2011.
