Double Chips - 20 Players
JUST 1 MORE
Chips - 15 Players
After many years, Frank's Place has decided to cancel poker. While Saturdays
were still good, unfortunately attendance had dropped on Thursdays and Sundays, and was enough for them to decide to go in
a different direction.
I'm already working on replacement venues and nights. Please be patient. It
might be difficult to quickly replace these nights right before the holidays, but stay tuned to the website for updates.
Changes to the BSPL Mini-Deepstacks
Tournament at The Daytona Poker Room
We have two changes to our tournament beginning with our next
tournament December 3rd
First, the start time will be moving back to 11:10am. This will give those of you
in Central Florida an extra hour of sleep before heading over.
Secondly, we are making a slight change to the
format. We will be implenting a "Bounty Hunter" aspect to the tournament. This will be similar to our
game 3, with a slight twist. Each player will be issued a "bounty ticket" at the beginning of the tournament.
When you go all-in, you will put your ticket in the pot with your chips. If you get knocked out, the player will receive
your bounty ticket AND any tickets that you have earned previously. This will continue until we get down to the money.
At this point, the clock will stop and bounties will be counted. The player with the most bounty tickets will win the
$100 bounty prize. If two or more players are tied, the player with the highest chip count among those players will
win the bounty.
The benefit of this change is so that every player will get an equal chance at the bounty, as Jim
doesn't always get moved around to every table.
Congratulations to Barbie Sheppard, winner of the Volusia
Fall Quarterly! After a 55 minute heads up battle,
she defeated Danica Lakic to win her second Volusia tournament. Pictures will
be posted later this week.
Congratulations to Judy Kolbinskie, winner of the Central Florida Fall Quarterly! Judy defeated Howard
just a few hands heads up, after nearly 30 minutes of 3-way action. Pictures will be posted later this
NEW FOR THE WINTER QUARTER
Well, we've had lots of feedback regarding the double, triple and sometimes quadruple chips nights. So, we're going
to incorporate some new scoring on regular games while scaling back double, triple and quadruple chip nights.
Here's how it's going to work:
Than 26 Players ||26 or more players |
| ||2500 ||1st ||3500 || |
| ||2000 ||2nd ||3000 || |
| ||1500 ||3rd ||2500 || |
| ||1000 ||4th ||2000 || |
| ||800 ||5th ||1500 || |
| ||500 ||6th ||1000 || |
| ||400 ||7th ||900 || |
| ||300 ||8th ||800 || |
| ||200 ||9th ||700 || |
| ||100 ||10th ||600 || |
| ||0 ||11th ||500 || |
| ||0 ||12th ||400 || |
| ||0 ||13th ||300 || |
| ||0 ||14th ||200 || |
| ||0 ||15th ||100 || |
| || || || || |
| || Same rules still apply to single tables:
||pays top 3 || |
||pays top 4 || |
||pays top 5 || |
||pays top 6 || |
||14 or more players
||pays top 10 || |
| || || || |
| SIT N GO'S|
| No change to Sit N Go's. Stil 10 players per table, still paying top 5. |
There may be occasions
where we will sit 11 total players for a SNG (for example, the last game of the night and there are 11, or even 12 players
left). We will attempt to only sit 10 at a time, but the need to sit 11 may arise due to time constraints (remember,
we will try to seat everyone - imagine if you are that last player that isn't going to get sat, you'd want for us to get to
you as well).
New bonus prizes for the following (in each area):
$50 Mini-Deepstacks Seat for the player with the most chips for the quarter
Mini-Deepstacks Seat for the player with the most wins for the quarter
NEW FOR THE FALL QUARTER
If a bounty ends up with the high hand for the night,
everyone who earns chips that night will receive 500 extra chips
*All games must have at least 10 players to qualify*
The triple challenges will now be:
3 wins in 1 night - 5,000 chips
3 wins on ANY back to back days
- 10,000 chips
(second day of the back-to-back does not ALSO count as the first day of a new back-to-back)
FLORIDA - 3 wins on Saturday between Frank's and Clermont Bowling Alley - 20,000 chips
CENTRAL FLORIDA - 3 wins on Tuesday between Sanctuary Ridge and Hagan O'Reilly's -
VOLUSIA - 3 wins on Sunday between
